The intellectual property rights (the "IPR") in any documents uploaded and/or translated is owned solely by the TranslationBooth.com until such time as payment is received. Following payment, all IPR in the uploaded and/or translated documents shall be jointly shared between the user and TranslationBooth.com. Each IPR owner has a non-exclusive right to use the document(s) for any purposes they deem fit. The TranslationBooth.com will only use documents submitted and/or translated and for which payment has been received for the purposes of enhancing its translation services.
The Translation Booth will never provide a copy of any document, translation or the private details of any user to any unassociated entity (for the avoidance of doubt; freelance translators, law enforcement officers and government officials shall not fall within the definition of "unassociated entity"). However, due to accounting and development requirements, this information may be transferred and/or used by entities associated by ownership or control with the TranslationBooth.com. Likewise, the TranslationBooth.com shall co-operate with any valid legal requests to disclose information.
Documents sent through for translation are not reviewed for accuracy by the TranslationBooth.com. As such, the TranslationBooth.com takes no responsibility for any inaccuracies that may be contained within the original or translated documents. It is up to the user to ensure that the document sent for translation is correct in every respect.
While any disputes that arise may be referred to the TranslationBooth.com, the
contract for the provision of translation services remains between the
individual translator and the user. The only action that the TranslationBooth.com
is able to take is to remove the translator in question from the website. Any
dispute between the user and translator must be resolved between those two
parties.
The TranslationBooth.com provides no warranties nor makes any representations as
to the quality, availability, ability, etc of any of the human translators listed
on the site and accepts no responsibility for any claims made by a user who is
dissatisfied with the performance of any given human translator.
Products and Resources Disclaimer
Access to resources and products contained on the TranslationBooth.com website is conditional on the user indemnifying the TranslationBooth.com from any legal claims whether in tort, contract or otherwise which may be made by the user or any other party. Furthermore, by using any resources or products found on the TranslationBooth.com website, the user is taken to have agreed to only use those applications for lawful purposes.
Any attempts to reverse engineer, copy, modify, or otherwise deal with any resource or product is strictly prohibited. Any user who attempts to reverse engineer, copy, modify or otherwise deal with any resource or product will be held to have breached these terms of use and shall be liable for any damages suffered by the owner.
The TranslationBooth.com does not review any of the text submitted for translation nor does it review or warrant the accuracy of any translation provided by any resource or product supplied via the TranslationBooth.com website. In particular, machine translation is a developing field and in no case should a user expect a machine translation to be of the same accuracy as obtaining a translation by a human translator.
The TranslationBooth.com accepts no responsibility for any loss suffered by a user who relies on the accuracy of any machine translation application. Furthermore, by using any resource or product obtained from the TranslationBooth.com website, the user indemnifies the TranslationBooth.com for any loss of any kind arising from the use of the application, including, but not limited to, system crash, loss of documents, breach of confidentiality or any other risk associated with the use of that resource or product.
The TranslationBooth.com does not offer any assistance with the use of any resource or product other than by way of support via the TranslationBooth.com website.
The TranslationBooth.com reserves the rights to modify, suspend, terminate or otherwise alter any resources or products at its sole discretion without reference to, or advising any user.
